• Account information — your email address and password (encrypted) when you create an account.
• User-generated content — food memories, places, photos, ratings, tags, and descriptions you create within the app.
• Device & usage data — anonymous crash reports and basic usage analytics to help us improve the app. This data does not personally identify you.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Gastromemories service.
• Authenticate your account and keep your data secure.
• Sync your memories and places across your devices.
• Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage buckets with access restricted to your account.

4. Third-Party Services

Gastromemories uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage (Supabase Privacy Policy).
• Apple App Store — app distribution and in-app purchase processing.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data at any time within the app.
• Edit or delete any memory, place, or photo you have created.
• Delete your account — contact us at feedback@gastromemories.com and we will permanently delete your account and all associated data.
• Export your data — contact us to request a copy of your data.

6. Children's Privacy

Gastromemories is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
